We didn’t know if we should add this one, as swimming is not allowed. We decided to include it because it is pretty, and people were letting their dogs swim.

This is a town park with a pretty waterfall that can be viewed from a look out platform, or by following a short path down to the falls. We don’t know if people swim here, so this is a “See” location. http://nyfalls.com/waterfalls/wolcott-falls/
We weren’t sure if we should include this location, because swimming isn’t allowed, and you would be visible if you tried. This park has a very large sand beach, and multiple swim areas. They also have a unique set up with diving boards along a canal. On sunny days the water appears to be turquoise, though we were here during a storm. It is a lovely park, and likely a good place for swimmers. http://www.nysparks.com/parks/12/details.aspx
After seeing this location we were shocked that we had never heard of it before. The landscape here is so unusual for the east coast, and the views are breathtaking.
