Lake Luzerne Campground at Fourth Lake

This is a fairly unusual campground in that it has one beach for day use and one for campers. The campers beach was technically closed when we were here but the ranger said people were down there, and there were a ton of people swimming. Having this beach closed was actually was nicer, as there weren’t buoys set up so you could swim further. The main beach is open for day use guests, but the swimming area is small and it was pretty crowded. It is a nice sand beach for children though, and also seems to be a good place to kayak.
