SEE/SWIM

See/Swim is a guide to outdoor swimming and exploration, with over 400 locations throughout the United States.  See/Swim was created by two artists to map access to land, and to help people feel connected with their surroundings.  We run this site in our free time to document our travels, and to share them with people who like outdoor swimming.  We aren’t professional guides, and we have no affiliation with any of the parks or locations listed on this site.  We plan our trips using other websites and travel guides, so if we have any incorrect information, please let us know.  You should always try to contact a location before your visit to ensure that the information is up to date.  We ask that if you use our site that you ensure you are clean and respectful of the environment, and the local community.  Please bring out anything you bring in, and consider helping out by bringing an extra trash bag to pick up any litter you find.

While our site has an emphasis on swimming, we also include many locations that are simply places to “See,” and enjoy the outdoors.  Please read the full descriptions before planning your trip, and visit How to Use See/Swim  and Basic Safety.
