Sewell Pond

There are two locations on Sewell Pond-one is roadside and was fairly crowded when we visited, so we couldn’t get many pictures, but the other one is nicer anyway.

The first area is at +43 52.143, -069 46.993, and is just a little pull off where the water comes close to Arrowsic Road as you are heading south.  You will likely cars parked here.

The better area is on the opposite side of the pond, off of Old Stage Rd.  This area is part of the Sewell Pond Conservation Area, and the GPS is marked on the map.  There is a small dirt parking which can fit about two cars, and other cars park roadside.  There are signs for the conservation area, but they might be hard to spot.  From the parking lot, follow the obvious path down to where it splits in three. People swim off of all the paths, but the one farthest to the right has a really nice rope swing.  We believe dogs are allowed, and there were no signs prohibiting swimming.  This seems to be a popular spot with locals, so please be respectful.
