Black Point Trail

This is a popular fishing spot, and possibly a place that swimming would be good, as there are a few protected pools that might be safe, depending on tide. We don’t know for sure though, and we didn’t see anyone swimming.  We are including this location because it is short hike that is really pretty, and you could bring your dogs to cool off.

There is a small parking lot on Ocean Rd., with trails leading to the shore.  Take main trail down, and at the three way intersection bear right, then follow the trail down until it pretty much reaches the water.  You’ll see a small trail to your left that goes down to the rocks.  There are multiple trails, but they all seem to be short little ones with nice views. Some of the trails end in a cliff, so lead children and animals. Port-a-potties are available.
