Bennett Beach
There is something really great about this beach-it feels a little abandoned, like you’re at the end of the earth. You walk through the park and some forest, over a river canal, and then come out onto a huge sand beach with some vacant buildings. There is a lifeguard and the dunes are protected, and we aren’t sure if dogs are allowed on the beach or not. There seems to be an outhouse available, but otherwise there aren’t really facilities.
