Lyons Falls, Upper

This area has two locations, and both are public boat launches that people swim from. They are close together, with one launch on the upper falls above the dam, and one below the dam. Both areas are signed, and there is camping at the lower one.

UPPER BOAT LAUNCH- We were told by a mom that there is swimming here, and that this is where most people go.  There is a roped-off area showing where the dam is and marking it as unsafe.  Two rivers seem to come together here, and the park is in the middle of them. There is an upper parking area and a lower parking area with the boat launch, make sure to keep the lower boat launch clear.  We don’t know exactly which area is the best or safest for swimming, so ask a local.
