Eastman Park

This is a really cute park beside a house, and seems to be open to the public due to the land owners. Look for the blue house where the road crosses the Sandy River, and the path is before the narrow bridge.  There is a sign for Eastman Park, but it is a little hard to see while driving.  There is only a tiny amount of parking, and maybe two cars could fit alongside the road before the bridge.

There are homemade sculptures along the tiny paths, and access to the river. If you follow the path until you come to a miniature red picnic table, and then walk upstream for a minute you’ll see a small waterfall. There is a place in the river maybe three or four feet deep that you could cool off in. The rocks are large curved boulders with holes and ridges, and small hidden pools.  It is really lovely of the people to allow access to this land, so please be respectful.
