Lincoln Pond Campground
This is a nice campground that only has about 20 sites, so it is small and a little close together, but not overcrowded. We couldn’t ascertain the size of the swim area, because they couldn’t get a lifeguard that year and just left the beach open without buoys. If a ranger sees you swimming you’ll have to get out, but the campers we talked to said they swim off the campsites and no one has bothered them. We were told that the state wouldn’t allow them to have a “swim at your own risk” policy, but it seems like they turn a blind eye. There is a very large sand beach, and pretty views of the lake.
