Lady’s Bathtub

This is sort of a strange location because you are allowed to be here, and the town of Lincoln grants access, but the entrance is within the Riverfront Condominium complex.  So when you are in the complex, you’ll see a lot of “No Trespassing” and “Private Property” signs, but if you use the entrance on West Branch Road and then take a right, you’ll see a small parking lot beside some tennis courts, and you can park here and walk down to the river.  There aren’t many spaces, so this is not the place to bring a large group.  There is a short wooden staircase to the water, and you can swim at your own risk.

There is a brilliant green pool with large sloping rocks. The pool seems to be about 5 feet deep or so, and large enough to do some actual swimming.  This is a lovely area, and it is wonderful that the town provides access.

Leashed dogs are allowed.
