Nequassett Park

This is a small park beside the town office in Woolwich, which has a picnic area and boat launch.  They allow swimming in a certain part of the river, and there is fairly large dock.  The water flows from the Nequassett Reservoir. People jump off the dock and the small bridge that is George Wright Road which is only 4-5 feet high.

Following the river downstream, there is an alewife run just across the road, which is open to the public.  In the spring (May) you can watch the alewives migrating upstream and the eagles, osprey and heron waiting for them, which is actually pretty fun.
