Norway Town Beach

Though this beach is commonly called the “Norway Town Beach,” look for the wooden sign that says, “Lake Pennesseewassee Park” which will be on your right hand side as you are heading north on route 118.  The sign is large, but it might be hard to see if you’re heading south.

This is a very nice park, that has kind of an unusual setup.  Walking along the trail to the water, you sort of “happen upon” all of these of tiny little play areas, which is really a cute way to set up the park.  The beach itself is a small crescent of sand, and popular with families, which makes it a little chaotic on the weekends.  There is a roped swimming area, and diving platform.  Volley ball and basketball courts are also available.
