Greenfield State Park
The park has a swimming area on Otter Lake, which our GPS says is also called Picnickers Beach. The facilities seem a little bit worn, but the park is peaceful and pretty. The swimming area is medium sized with a small sand beach, and it seems like they have a lifeguard sometimes.
There is also a concession building with snacks and camping supplies, but it isn’t obvious or well marked. When you drive down to the parking lot the concession building is just a little down the road on your right. We were here on a Friday and the park was pretty empty, but we aren’t sure what it is like on weekends. The camping area allows dogs, but they are not permitted on the beach.
