Long Pond, Grafton Lakes State Park

This is part of Grafton Lakes State Park, but it is not the main swim area.  This seems to be an unofficial area that is intended as a boat launch, but that people use to swim away from the crowds at the main beach.  You can’t access this from the main park entrance area, and instead have to follow North Long Pond Road.  This appears to go all they way through the park, but it wasn’t drivable when we were there.  We followed the road all the way to the end and parked on the right, where you’ll see a trail on the left that goes straight to pond, about a 2 min walk. This is a boat dock and they say swimming is prohibited but people do swim here. This is a large lake with clear water, and people were paddle boarding and doing laps.  During our visit there was no fee for this area.
