Kent Falls

This location is on Kent Falls Road, which doesn’t have a sign, but if you are coming from Cadyville, it is the left before the bridge that goes over the Saranac.  If you follow this road you’ll come to a closed metal bridge with a parking area just before it.   If you park here and walk across the road, you’ll see paths to the river.

There is a trail here with lots of fire pits and it looks like you could swim, but we didn’t see anyone in the water.  There is a huge dam upstream and one downstream, so it might be unsafe.

We went to the power plant because we saw a lot of people down there fishing, but a cop came by and told us we were trespassing.  The trails outside the power station seem to be used regularly, and there is a sign for public access parking.
