Cascade Park

This location is in downtown North Woodstock, NH, just off of Route 3.  Park anywhere in town, and the park is beside the town visitor’s center, and across from the Cascade Lodge. Walk through the picnic area and in a couple steps you’ll be at the river. There are smooth sloping rocks and lots of small cascades. People were using tubes on a short cascading slide. The water is clear and fairly shallow, so this would be a great place for kids and to cool off. Swimming seems to be allowed, and dogs seem to be allowed as well.  We didn’t see a restroom, but there may be one in the visitor’s center.
