Adam’s Eden
This is a Christian-run recreation camp that is available for day use and event rentals. They used to allow swimming in one of the waterfalls but apparently stopped because it was too dangerous. Now it says you can get kicked out for swimming, so this is more of a “See” location, though we’re not sure how serious they are about throwing people out as we saw people with towels. For $4 per person you can hike their trails, fish, canoe, paddle board, use their game room and their meadow maze. They have a number of activities you can book in advance like a bonfire and hayride, and a ropes course. There is also some tent and cabin rental on site. Overall it feels more secluded than most camps we visited and the water fall trail is strenuous with multiple waterfalls. You mostly walk down the river, which is basically one large flat rock with shallow water. Justin came to what he thought was end of trail, as the river closed into a big waterfall and emptied below, but he couldn’t find a way down and it was getting late. He saw some locals on the way back and they said there is a trail off to the right that brings you to the bottom and that is where the best swimming is. This trail can be very slick after rain even with good shoes. Dogs are allowed on the trail.
