Faville Falls

There is a small parking lot/pull off area right where the river meets Peckville Rd.  This seems to be a park that is no longer maintained.  Right near the parking area there is a good sized waterfall with a pool below, but we couldn’t find a path to it, and with little time to explore, I just took a picture (last picture below) and went to check out the other waterfall. To get to this fall , just follow the one path over the river, and in a little while it will do a U-turn down to the water.  You will see a picnic table with a grill and fire pit.

At the base of a multi-tiered fall, there is a small but deep pool.  One of our sources lists this as a swimming area, though we didn’t observe anyone swimming. The water is cloudy, but seems clear of debris. There’s a large rock in the middle of the river at the base of the falls that is great just to lay out on and enjoy the day.
