West Beach, Lake Taghkanic State Park

This is a popular area with a fun “beach party” sort of atmosphere. There are lovely views of rolling hills, and a massive sand beach with lots of activities. There is a large roped off swimming area, multiple lifeguard stations, sports area, paddle boats, restrooms, concessions, large parking lot, picnic area, camping. No dogs allowed.
