Keoka Lake
This seems to be a popular spot, which we happened upon by accident. There is a small parking area which can easily be missed, and a narrow sand beach, which is used for swimming and kayaking. We don’t know who manages this area, but there was a porta-potty, and an information sign about wildlife. There is a good chance that this is a public boat launch, that is just used for swimming.
The water near the beach is jade green and sandy in a small area, then alongside the shore it has more vegetation, which looks almost like a tide pool. There are no buoys, so you have unfettered access for taking longer swims if you choose.
