There is a medium sized sand beach and swimming area, though the beach is fairly narrow and their website says that the park can become crowded on weekends. This park is alternately called “Lakeside Park” and “Riverside Park.” This is a small town park in downtown Rangeley, with a swimming area and boat launch. There are nice views of the lake, a playground, and covered picnic areas. The swimming area is small, and probably better for children.
