Washing Machine

Coming from 209, you are looking for Lundy Road, which can be very hard to see, but it is close to the bridge going over Vernooy Kill. Lundy road is a paved road that becomes dirt. The swimming hole is on your left, and there is a little pull off/parking area that can fit 2 or 3 cars.  The short path to the swimming area is there, and you can see water from the parking area. There also seems to be a groomed trail through the woods leading to the right, but the place people swim is straight ahead and then to the left.

The area is not posted, but places around it are posted as private property, and we aren’t sure what the status of this land is, but swimmers were present. We observed them steering clear of the fall itself, so use caution, or ask a local.

This is a short, but turbulent water fall, with a pool below. To get to the pool you can do a short walk through the woods, or crawl over the rocks alongside the fall.  These rocks are slippery, so use caution.
