Stag Brook Falls
Park in the Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, and walk up the road in between the main lodge and the education center. Once you pass the educational center you’ll see a sign for Stag Brook trail. You’ll come across the largest fall pretty quickly, which is probably about 50 ft., with no pool. There is a nice trail continuing on after that with pools that you could take small dips in, but no real swimming that we saw. If you want to hike Whiteface mountain on a hot day this trail follows the brook until about half way up the mountain, then splits off into other trails, so it could be a good way to cool off and see the dozens of small falls along the way.
