Lower Ammonoosuc Falls

The sign for the falls is very small and hard to see, but the road is beside Mount Deception Campground.  Follow the gravel path from the parking lot, which is an easy path that leads straight to the falls.  The falls form a large natural waterslide that cascades down a few hundred feet emptying into a large calm pool. This is a popular area, and the falls are a little crowded, but still worth the trip.

There is another other parking lot roadside on Route 302 near Lower Falls Road, which isn’t marked with a sign, but can be seen on Google.  This lot isn’t named, but it is a little before the “Zealand White Mountain Forest” sign.
