Garwin Falls

The trail to the falls is slightly south of where Issac Fry Highway meets Putnam Road, and there is some parking near a chain attached to two trees.  The trail is wide, and it only takes about two minutes to get to the upper falls.  This is the smaller of the two falls,  and if you go back to the main trail the lower falls is about a 4 minute walk.  You’ll pass a meadow and a dam, and there will be a trail that veers left off the main trail, which you take to the falls. This waterfall is probably 50ft tall with 7 or 8 smaller falls, and there is a ledge halfway down which would be good for sunbathing.  At the bottom there is a good sized pool that is probably about four feet deep.
