Davis Park
This is an exceptional town park, with river swimming under a covered bridge. The water is calm, and a lovely emerald green. It is fairly deep in the middle, and there is a wide expanse of open water. The area is bucolic and peaceful, and it would be a great place to bring a float. There are also tennis and basketball courts available, and a Port-a-Potty.
The park is in Conway, NH, just after you cross the bridge over the Saco River. If you’re going north on Washington St. from where it intersects with Route 113, you’ll see a triangular park/green space, with a brilliant turquoise fountain in the middle. When you see the fountain, you take the road curving to the right, which immediately goes over the bridge, and the park will be on your right.
