Collins Park

This park was closed when we were here, so unfortunately our pictures are from outside the fence.  This is a very large town park, with a lot in the area.  There is a boat launch, swimming beach, drive-in restaurant, sports fields, and a couple different pavilions and picnic areas. One section is on Collins Lake, but there seems to be another swimming area on the Hudson.

Their website says that they are still having trouble getting the swimming area back together after Hurricane Irene, so maybe call before you come.
