Coes Pond Beach

There was a sign saying that the beach is closed, but people were still using it. There is a new looking sign that says they are improving the beach, but when we were there the restrooms were closed and there wasn’t a lifeguard. Parking seems to be roadside and a little hard to come by. There is a bus stop in front of the beach, so it might be possible to park elsewhere and take public transport.

There is a large sand beach with pretty views, and a small island that is very close to shore. The swimming area wasn’t roped off, but presumably it will be once the renovation is complete. If the improvement goes well this could end up being a very nice beach.
