Basin Lake

Access to this lake is allowed as it is part of the White Mountain National Forest, and campers told us that people do swim here-but it isn’t on their official list of swimming areas. There is some machinery in this lake, so we don’t really know what the deal is. The campground was not staffed during our visit, so if you plan on swimming here we recommend you calling ahead with any questions.
