Ballard Town Park, Westport Municipal Beach
We aren’t sure where you’re supposed to park, so we parked in the lot behind The Galley restaurant, and then walked a short path over to the town beach which you can see it from the parking lot. They rent kayaks and powers boats from the marina right there as well. The marina is very pretty so renting a boat seems like a lot of fun, and the beach seems like an ok place to read and maybe cool off if you’re in the area. The swimming area is small with a medium sand beach, but it sort of feels like you’re on the ocean which is nice. The water had a bit of organic debris, and the signs say water shoes required…not sure why.
