Allen Falls
On Allen Falls Road, park in small gravel area by the bridge, then cross the street and walk down the river, doing some bushwhacking along the way. Apparently there is a trail across the yard of the house across the street, but the guy was mowing his lawn when we were there, and that seemed pretty rude to do. Unknown if this private property, but the guy mowing the lawn saw us park and didn’t seem to mind.
Above the main fall there are many smaller pools and whirlpools, the largest fall is probably 75 ft. tall, and is a wide cascading torrent that flows into a large pool. We didn’t see anyone swimming, but there are lots of places to relax and enjoy the falls.
