Lyons Lake
This is an unusual listing, because it is sort of a park, sort of a restaurant. There are grills and pavilions, so you don’t have to go to the restaurant, but the swimming area seems to be part of the restaurant. The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area on the water, with a lovely view. Either way- this is a very very pretty area to eat or have a picnic, but the swimming is really only suitable for young children. The swim area is small and shallow, though there is a little sand beach. Lifeguard…maybe? We saw an old lifeguard chair…
We were allowed to have our dog in the picnic area, but obviously not in the restaurant.
